Oyo confirms 2 fresh cases of COVID-19

Oyo State government on Tuesday confirmed two new cases of coronavirus in the state.

The state governor, Seyi Makinde, who disclosed this on his Twitter handle, said the first case is a 28- year- old who returned to the country from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on March 22.

While the second case is a 42-year-old man who had contact with an earlier confirmed case.

The governor, who tested positive to coronavirus last month, recovered from the disease at the weekend.

Oyo now has 11 confirmed cases of coronavirus
