Scores of Nigerians who are involved in the Mavrodi Mondial Movement generally known as MMM by way of investing and benefiting from the Ponzi scheme, are in panic after a circular was published on the MMM website informing that all confirmed Mavro accounts have been frozen for a month.

The panic is even made worse by the fact that the announcement is coming some days before Christmas, meaning that those who have provided help and are waiting to get help will not be able to do so until after one month when the ban is lifted.

In the circular posted by top MMM guider, Chuddy, investors were told to exercise patience and calm while also explaining that the one month freeze is necessary, adding that it was to put the Federal Government and MMM haters to shame.

“Hi Mavrodians, as we all must have seen in our PO of the news on Mavro frozen for a month. This isn’t the first of its kind. It happens when there are excess PANIC in the system. It was also placed on Zimbabwe and after the duration it was lifted.

“This idea is brought forward to calm the members down on intending threat the FG and Mass media has planned on the system. It doesn’t mean that there is no more money in the system because in my PO now as a guider, I have about 2million+ PH orders.

“And I know it would be like that in most Guiders PO too. So you see!!! Money to pay out the orders wouldn’t be a problem. But the Admins needed to apply measures to sustain the growth of the system. In order to fight issues that may arose as a result of Massive PH already this Xmas.” The circular read in full.

However, Nigerians have continued to react to the development with many gripped in panic and confusion.

Most Nigerians are into MMM because of the economic frustration, hardship and poverty. People are desperate to meet ends means via any channel. I blame Buhari for jeopardizing hand letting his people down. As for those who lost in the process, I sympatise with you, I hope others will learn from your greed and not invest in anything ‘shortcut to wealth’

MMM can never crash. Please Ignore all news about MMM crashing. This one month is to secure our participants and not let the evil ones use MMM as an avenue to crimes. As you all know, the crime rates usually increases during Christmas and New Year season, we don’t want our image to be tarnished by any evildoer, so it became very important to freeze operations. Pls comply and bear with us.
