Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has lamented that parents of suspected internet fraudster, popularly called Yahoo boys, sometimes fight on behalf of their wards to escape justice.

He also lamented, that such parents try to influence the commission to set their kids free, when they are apprehended.

He spoke in Lagos on Thursday, at the commission’s Ikoyi office, and claimed that some mothers of such suspected fraudsters are forming a common front to defend their kids, who have been arrested by the EFCC.
