Paris raids foiled fresh attacks –police

A report by Paris Prosecutor Francois Molins reveals that the overnight raids by French police thwarted a terrorist group that was reportedly ready to initiate fresh attacks.
He further revealed that a total of eight people were arrested as a result of police raids in the Parisian suburb of Saint-Denis and that details of the raid are still being investigated while a number of people are under police watch.

Molins did confirm that Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the alleged mastermind of Friday’s Paris attacks that killed 129 people, was not one of those detained.
However, the identities of the two people who died in the raid as well as the eight people who are being interrogated, have not been released.
