Pastor doled out N1bn to arrest, prosecute me, Kemi Olunloyo claims

Two days after revealing that she had problems with blood pressure and bronchial tubes, controversial social media personality, Kemi Olunloyo, has claimed in a post on Instagram that the pastor who accused her of defamation spent the sum of N1 billion to arrest and prosecute her.

She revealed that much information when she shared a throwback photo of former Deputy Inspector General of Police and Oyo State House of Assembly speaker, Chief Samuel Akinyemi, on her Instagram page.

Kemi wrote; “Nigeria’s deputy IG of police in 1951 later became the Chief Whip of the Western state house of assembly now known as the #OyoState house of Assembly speaker.

“Chief Samuel Akinyemi. My grandfather whose daughter became #OyoState First Lady–Funlayo Olunloyo. If he were alive, he would have been 101-years-old. My wrongful arrest by the IG today because a pastor allegedly paid N1B to arrest and prosecute me would have KILLED HIM if he were alive today.

“My mother told the media in interviews that I inherited my investigative journalism skills from Honorable Chief Akinyemi’s police CID skills. They said he solved many crimes. He is also the grandpa to #OyoState attorney general and commissioner for justice #SeunAbimbola. Our moms are sisters. He died in 1988,” she added.

About four months ago, Kemi was picked up by security operatives at her Ibadan home in March and was detained at the Port Harcourt prison for 81 days.

This was sequel to a petition written to the Nigeria Police Force by Pastor Ibiyeomie who claimed she defamed him by publishing an alleged adultery story about him which he claimed was unfounded.
