BREAKING: Court orders forfeiture of Patience Jonathan’s $8.4 million, N9.2b to Nigerian govt

Reports emanating from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) indicate that former First Lady, Patience Jonathan, may have reached a deal with First Lady Aisha Muhammadu Buhari to turn her 200 bed hotel to a COVID-19 disease isolation and treatment centre.

The hotel, located on the ever busy Jabi-Mabushi road, has been a subject of litigation between Mrs Jonathan and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), which secured an interim forfeiture order on the property, with Mrs Jonathan insisting that the hotel belongs to another entity, the Aurora Foundation.

The reports further added that the hotel, which has witnessed intensed finishing touches in the last few days would be handed over to the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire today, Monday.
