Paulinho strike earns Barca fourth win of La Liga season

Brazilian midfielder, Paulinho scored a late winner to see Barcelona maintain their 100% record in La Liga with an incredible comeback at Getafe on Saturday.

Paulinho, who joined the Ernesto Valverde’s side this summer, came on as a second-half substitute and powered his way into the box before netting from a tight angle.

Getafe had taken the lead in the first half through Gaku Shibasaki’s stunning volley high into the roof of the net, but couldn’t hold onto their lead as their visitors came from behind in the second half to win 2-1..

Ousmane Dembele hobbled off injured on his first league start, as Denis Suarez clipped in Barca’s leveller on 62 minutes,before the winner came only sixminutes before stoppage time.

The result keeps Barcelona at the top of the table, having won all four of their league games so far this season.

Barcelona will return to the Camp Nou on September 19, when they will host Eibar in their fifth game of the La Liga season.
