Pay me my 5-months salary, Siasia begs NFF

U-23 Eagles coach, Samson Siasia, has sent a passionate plea to the Nigeria Football Federation to pay his salaries and backlog of bonuses and allowances owed him and his players.

Speaking during a radio interview monitored in Lagos, Siasia said: “I am appealing to the NFF and the Sports Ministry to pay our salaries.”

He added that: “After the Olympics, that money will just go on voice mail,” Siasia said, meaning he will not be paid afterwards.

Immediate past Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh is also claiming that he was being owed by the NFF, even though the Glass House has hotly disputed the claim.

The situation is similar to other coaches of various national teams, as Emmanuel Amuneke, the national U-20 coach’s salaries are held.
