PDP asks INEC to stop collation of presidential election results

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has asked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to immediately stop the ongoing collation of the results of the presidential election held on Saturday.

The party spoke through the Deputy Director General of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, Taminu Turaki, at a press briefing on Tuesday.

The PDP also called for the outright cancellation of results from Borno, Yobe and Zamfara states.

Mr. Turaki also called for the immediate restoration of the party’s over 157,000 votes declared invalid in Nasarawa State.
