PDP, R-APC, 37 other parties in meeting, to sign alliance MOU

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Reformed All Progressives Congress (R-APC) and 37 other political parties are currently in a meeting at the Yar’ Adua Centre, Abuja.

Though the details of the meeting is not yet available, it was however gathered that the parties want to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a grand alliance ahead of the 2019 general elections.

Some of the parties include the African Democratic Congress (ADC), National Conscience Party (NCP), National Unity Party (NUP), Action Alliance (AA) and the Better Nigeria Progressive Party (BNPP).

The meeting which has in attendance the PDP national chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, R-APC national chairman, Buba Galadima among others, it was learnt, wants to ensure that a presidential candidate that would defeat President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 is produced by the parties.
