PDP: Sheriff remains sacked, court affirms

A Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, on Monday, said the sacking of the Ali Modu Sheriff led National Working Committee, NWC, at the National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, held in Port Harcourt in May was in order.

Justice Mohammed Liman made the ruling on Monday, affirming that the NWC headed by Sheriff was validly dissolved and the appointment of the Ahmed Makarfi led caretaker committee was in order.
