Nigeria’s main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Tuesday dragged the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to Court in an action intended to compel the the latter, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Interior Affairs Minister to explain the involvement of aliens in APC campaign rallies.

Ripples Nigeria had reported that Governor Issa Moussa of Zinder and Maradi State Governor, Zakiri Umar, both from the Republic of Niger, had attended the Kano State All Progressives Congress (APC) rally for President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election on January, 31.

Salihu Yakasai, media aide to Kano State Governor, Umar Ganduje, had revealed the presence of the Nigerian governors on his Twitter handle.
