PDP wins polling unit of Kano Deputy Gov

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abba Kabir Yusuf, has defeated governor Abdullahi Ganduje of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Magwan polling where the state’s deputy governor voted.

Ganduje’s PDP was defeated by 210 to 197 votes in the three polling units located at the Magwan polling station.

At the first polling unit where the deputy governor voted, APC had 73 votes against 76 polled by the PDP.

Other results revealed that PDP won by 76 to 73, 63 to 48 and 71 to 76 for PDP and APC respectively.
