Phelps is swimming to the altar
Michael Phelps is officially out of the dating pool. The swimming legend has announced he’s engaged to former Miss California, Nicole Johnson.
Phelps, who took the world by storm in his phenomenal wins in the Olympics, hauling in a total of 22 gold medals so far has won another kind of gold this weekend. He announced on Instagram that his girlfriend, Nicole, has agreed to marry him.
On Saturday, February 21, the 29-year-old professional swimmer posted a photo of himself frolicking in the snow with his new fiancée, captioned, “She said yes @nicole.m.johnson.
Phelps won his first gold in 2004, and with 22 gold medals proudly hung on his wall was before now one of the world’s most eligible bachelors.
