PHOTOSCENE: Ambode,Tinubu celebrate Eyo festival
The famous Eyo Festival took place on Saturday at the Tafawa Balewa square, Lagos, with Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Oba Rilwan Akiolu in attendance.
Governor Ambode at the event stated that this year’s festival was organised to achieve two purposes; First to celebrate the Adamu Orisha play in honor of the Late Oba Yekini Adeniyi Elegushi, Kusenla II a foremost traditional ruler and secondly, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Lagos state.
