PHOTOSCENE: Gov El Rufai calls for list of prisoners in his state

Governor Nasir el Rufai of Kaduna state has asked to see a list of criminals who have been detained for various criminal activities in the state.

The governor was also at one of the prisons on the state to listen to cases of some detained suspects who are under investigation for various offences.

Many of the prisoners, their friends and relatives are hopeful that the move may signal the granting of amnesty by the governor to some lucky inmates.
