PHOTOSCENE: Senate committee visits Borno IDP camps

The Senate Adhoc Committee on the Humanitarian Crisis in the North East recently visited Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp in Borno State.

During the visit, Sen Ben Murray-Bruce said “I am adopting a girl from IDP camp in Dalori. There’re too many orphaned kids there and I call on other privileged Nigerians to follow suit.

“I saw people that showed gratitude to God even though they’ve lost their livelihood. I was humbled”.

The committee while on the trip visited Governor of the state, Kashim Shettima, the NAF run the school run by UNICEF at the IDP camp, Maiduguri.
