Why we’re proposing 24–team AFCON --Pinnick

In from Nifemi Daniel . . .
Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick, has said the body did not betray former international, Chief Segun Odegbami (MON) in his quest to vie for FIFA Presidency.
Odegbami cried foul over his inability to secure endorsements from five other African countries but Pinnick said the NFF did what was supposed to be done after getting the Federal Government endorsement but it was unfortunate that he was unable to make it.

“I did my human best; I was in touch with Odegbami every hour. At a point, we asked the two candidates to come together and fashion a way out as they will require the support of over 209 members all over the world,” he said.
“As Chairman of Ewekoro FC, he has every other thing to be listed but unfortunately we could not get there,” Pinnick explained.
