How police, army, DSS shared from Diezani's election bribe funds

The Economic and Financial Crimea Commission (EFCC) on Thursday claimed that a number of senior police and army officers shared from the huge funds allegedly doled out by a former minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke for the purpose of influencing the 2015 general elections.

The claims are contained in a document tendered at the Federal High Court in Lagos on Thursday, which it said it recovered from Mr. Dele Belgore, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, who is currently standing trial before Justice Aikawa for allegedly collecting N450m from Diezani for distribution to the officials.

All the officers of the army, police and other security agencies involved in this bribe scandal should be mentioned and punished adequately

In fact, their names should even published in the national dailies so that everyone can know the bad, rotten eggs who sold Nigerians’ interest to malpractices in 2015 general elections.

I agree with you because with this exposure others who are into bribing will learn from it and stop corruption

Sentencing her to death will be a bad move now. We need to know all her accomplices who assisted her in defrauding Nigeria during and after her administration. For this reason, she deserves to live until investigations are completed

The worst of all is the returning officer from Kwara, he is a prof and yet he couldn’t reject the bribe. Why are kwara people so corrupt like the Senate President, Bukola.

The country was drained by pdp indeed. Diezeni must not escape judgement in any way. All accomplices must face the wrath of the law too
