Police arraign 34-yr-old woman for allegedly stabbing another with broken bottle

The police on Tuesday arraigned a 34-year-old woman, Kehinde Adesanya, in an Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State for allegedly stabbing another woman with a broken bottle.

The Prosecutor, Sergeant. Mary Ajiteru informed the court that the defendant committed the offence on May 8, at 8:30 pm at No. 72 Isawo Road, Owutu, Agric. area of Ikorodu.

According to Ajiteru, the defendant allegedly stabbed her victim Mrs Abosede on her left arm with a broken bottle which caused her severe injury.

The Magistrate, C.K Tunji-Careena, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N70,000.

He adjourned the case until June 6, for mention.
