Police arrest 27-yr-old over kidnap, murder
The long arm of the law has caught up with a 27-year-old suspect identified as Idris Ishola in connection with the murder of a 20-year-old woman.
According to operatives of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit in the Imo State Police Command the suspect was nabbed over the murder of the victim identified as Oluchi Odumele of Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State.

Reacting to the arrest of the suspect an indigene of Osun State, who was arrested in Nkpolu, Rumuigbo in Rivers State, the State Commissioner of Police, Dasuki Galadanchi, said that the suspect, Ishola who has confessed to the crime, was also the leader of the gang, who had kidnapped six persons from the state.
The state CP said; “Idris Ishola is the principal suspect who was involved in the kidnapping of six victims and the murder of one Miss Oluchi Odumele, 20, of Orsu in lmo State.
“ldris lshola, who is 27 years from Osun State, was arrested at Nkpolu Rumuigbo in Rivers State on August 17, 2018.”
