The men of the Ondo State police command have arrested an ex-convict, Deji Adenuga, who set ablaze nine members of his estranged girlfriend’s family.

It was learnt that Adenuga was reported to have at 2.00 a.m. poured petrol around the family’s apartment and set it on fire while they were asleep.

It was gathered that Adenuga was arrested along Lagos/Benin Expressway in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

Police spokesperson, Femi Joseph, confirmed to newsmen that the suspect would be paraded on Tuesday.

According to him, Adenuga was said to be one of the inmates who escaped from the Olokuta Prison in Akure, Ondo State during the prison break that occurred in 2013.
