Police Arrest Five for Stealing N56m Pharmaceutical Products

Police detectives attached to the anti-kidnapping unit of Zone 2 Command Headquarters, Lagos, have arrested five suspects for conspiracy and stealing of pharmaceutical products worth about N56million.

THISDAY gathered that one Isaac Ugwu, the CEO Peakins Pharmaceutical Company Limited, at Plot C, Mobolaji Johnson Estate, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos had reported an alleged case of conspiracy and stealing of pharmaceutical products in a petition to the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 2, Abdulmajid Ali.

The AIG was said to have directed the anti-kidnapping unit of the command to investigate the matter and bring the perpetrators to book.
