Police in Lagos and Ogun states have launched a manhunt for the kidnappers of four landlords, the Lagos State Police Command has announced.

Gunmen in military uniforms on Saturday raided some communities in Isheri, a border community between Lagos and Ogun states, and allegedly abducted four landlords in the area.

The Lagos command said it had launched a manhunt to arrest the kidnapers and rescue the landlords.

Its spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, a superintendent of police, said they had initiated a move aimed at ensuring that the victims were rescued alive.
