A senior lecturer at the University of Lagos, Boniface Igbeneghu, who was caught on tape making amorous advances at a ‘student’, has been invited for questioning by the Lagos State Police Command.
The police in a letter of invitation asked the lecturer to report at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba, on October 23, 2019.
In the letter, signed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the SCIID, Yetunde Alonge, Igbeneghu was asked to report at D10 section.
The invitation was sent to Igbeneghu through the varsity management.
Alonge, while speaking on the letter on Friday, said the Police were awaiting response, adding that the lecturer was yet to show up.
