Police arrests bribe taking officer exposed in video

The long arm of the law has caught up with two prophets named Olushola Akindele and Ayodele Bamiduro for beheading and cutting off the head and hands of a female friend simply identified as Iya Anu.

According to a source from Ogun State Police Command, one of the suspects Akindele (a bricklayer) who had been dating the deceased for two years, reportedly smashed the head of the victim while she was asleep.

The suspect reportedly threw the remains of his lover in an uncompleted building beside his bungalow at Igbore Robiyan in Agbado/Oke-Aro, Ifo Local Government Area of the state.

He also later buried the victim’s head and palms behind Bamiduro’s church, Lion of Judah Church of Christ on 13, Robiyan Avenue.

In his confessional statement, the suspect said he did not know why he killed his lover whom he had been dating for two years.

He said; “We had been lovers for two years; she sold alcoholic drinks and had been pestering me to help her with just N10,000.

“That fateful day, I do not know what came over me. I killed her by smashing her head with wood,” Akindele added.

The crime committed by Akindele who claims to be a prophet was described as wickedness by the state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, who conducted newsmen round the crime scenes.

The headless decomposing body of the victim according to the state CP was found by the village head, who reported to the Police on August 10.

He described the incident as wickedness, saying three suspects, including the two clerics, have been arrested in connection with the crime.
