A woman in Texas identified as Lorraine Maradiaga has been arrested for claiming she had the coronavirus, and threatening to spread it.

The 18 year old who took to Snapchat in a series of videos to say she had been “willfully spreading” the virus was arrested on Tuesday and charged with making terroristic threats and a third degree felony.

She was later confirmed to have earlier tested negative for the virus but was transferred to the Denton County jail where she bagged a bond of $20,000.
