Police rescue two kidnapped Chinese in Ogun

THE Police have rescued two Chinese Nationals – Shen Ximing and Wei Futang – from kidnappers in Ogun State.

Shen and Wei, who were last week kidnapped in Odeda in Odeda Local Government Area, regained their freedom after exchange of gunfire between the abductors and Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) operatives.

They were kidnapped while working on a quarry site at Odeda, but were rescued about a week later.

They are recuperating at an undisclosed hospital
Acting police spokesman Abimbola Oyeyemi told reporters at the command’s headquarters at Eleweran, Abeokuta, that the expatriates were rescued on Wednesday.
