Police storm hideout of Badoo cult group, arrests over 100 suspects

A raid on the hideout of notorious cult group terrorising residents of Ikorodu popularly known as Badoo, has witnessed the arrest of over 100 suspected members of the group reports say.

The raid by men of the Lagos State Police Command in conjunction with the Oodua People’s Congress-OPC, and Local vigilante groups is said to be connected with a recent closed-door meeting held between top Police authorities in Lagos, the OPC leader- Gani Adams, and other local vigilante groups last week.

The arrest of the suspects is coming a day after three members of the gang tried to break into one apartment near a gas station at the Jumofak area of Igbo-Oluwo, Ikorodu but were caught in the act.

However, residents refused to the cops from taking away the suspect after arriving the scene for fear that the police would later release the suspect who was later handed jungle justice as he was burnt alive.

This is called mass arrest! Since the popular Badoo has so many “disciples”, all of them should be killed together without sparing any of them!

I think without waste of time, the police should waste the lives of these arrested fellows called badooo. They have disturbed the peace of Ikorodu enough. But why can’t the police fish out the six abductees kidnappers caged all this while if they can captured these people

If opc can partner with the police too on kidnapping issue, to recover the children will be easy using African juju telescope

I hope peace will finally be restored in Ikorodu since the police have flushed “all the devils” out of the environ, they should now be able to sleep properly with their eyes closed.

The police force is trying it since Best to ensure the masses believe in its operations. We need more of these, consistently to be convieneced that criminals can be handled to the police without partial treatments. I hope one day, we’ll all have Rolfe confidence in the police instead of mobs burning criminals alive

If not for opc, they won’t have grilled these badoo members because it’s a badoo to capture a badoo. This is African juju working here

Whether it’s the support of opc or not, the major thing is that they have been arrested and justice will be served
