Police to quiz KWAM 1 over female student’s shooting

Some days after Kofowora Azeez, a female undergraduate of the Department of Business Education, Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago Iwoye, Ogun State was shot by suspected guards of popular Fuji singer, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, fondly called KWAM 1, the Nigerian police has informed that the musician will be invited over for questioning.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred at about 1:00 a.m and sources further revealed that the 21-year-old lady was in a car besides NASFAT building which is opposite Limelite Hotel, where KWAM 1 performed at a show.

The PPRO of Ogun State, Muyiwa Adejobi, has confirmed that the singer will be invited for questioning over the incident.

“We are going to invite the musician for questioning because the police will not condone violence in any form. We are inviting him for interrogation and possibly to get the perpetrator who fired the innocent lady,” Muyiwa said.
