Policeman dies in hotel room after Easter ‘fun’

Tragedy struck the Easter holiday in the Iju area of Lagos State, when a police Sergeant, One Jude Nwadudu was found dead in a hotel room in the area.

According to reports, Nwadudu had gone to the hotel with a female friend to have fun but slipped in the bathroom of the hotel when he went to freshen up after having a ‘good time’ with her. He was aid to have hit his head on the floor prompting the unnamed lady to raise an alarm.

Nwadudu, a father of four, was rushed to a nearby hospital from where he transferred to Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH). He however died on Easter Sunday.

The lady, according to reports, was invited by the police but was later released after making a statement.

Nwadudu, who was recently transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery Sqaud (SARS) headquarters of the Lagos State Police Command from Kogi State, also has a Sergeant wife.
