The Oyo State Police Command said on Sunday the suspected leader of the “One million boys” in the state, Biola Ebila, had been killed by its operatives.

The command’s spokesman, Olugbenga Fadeyi, who confirmed Ebila’s death to journalists in Ibadan, however, said he had no details on how the gang leader was killed.

Ebila, according to Fadeyi, was the most wanted criminal in the Oyo State capital.

He said: “The information reaching me from the Divisional Police Officer, Idi-Arere, revealed that his corpse and that of his colleagues who confronted the policemen strategically deployed to that axis were brought with a tricycle to Kudeti area.

“What actually transpired and details on how he was killed, I don’t have it now, but he has been confirmed dead.’’
