PORT HARCOURT: 11 passengers abducted from commercial bus

Unknown gunmen have struck again at the East West road in Emohua Local Government Area in Rivers State when they abducted a commercial bus with 11 passengers.

According to reports, the heavily armed gunmen attacked when the commercial bus, heading from Port Harcourt to Ahoada, stopped around Ndele to drop off some passengers.

The incident was confirmed by Mr. Zaki Ahmed, the Rivers State Police Commissioner who revealed that the police were doing everything within their power to rescue the kidnapped passengers.

It could be recalled that last month, a Lagos-bound vehicle with passengers was seized around the same Emohua Local Government Area of the East-West Road.
