Presidency teams up with Pinnick’s opponents ahead OF election

Opposition to the President of the Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick has stepped up their activities as they sealed partnership with big elements in the Presidency to stop the NFF’s boss’ ambition to retain his seat in next year’s election, Saturday Telegraph has reliably learnt.

Although Pinnick is yet to announce his decision to recontest for the NFF position, sources close to the Delta State-board administrator confirmed he would run.

Former ally of the NFF’s chief and oil magnate Ifeanyi Ubah is the leader of the opposition group and the club owner and his allies have now teamed up with big guns in the All Proggressives Congress led- government who have also frowned at the continuous stay of a card-carrying member of the People Democratic Party in a big parastatal like the NFF.
