President Buhari expected to address continued lockdown order in nationwide broadcast

President Muhammadu Buhari is billed to address Nigerians again on Monday at 7pm Nigerian time over the government’s response and handling of the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.

It would be recalled that President Buhari had on March 29 addressed the nation, wherein he ordered the total lockdown of Lagos, Abuja and Ogun State, in an effort to curb the spread of the disease.

Today’s broadcast is expected to address the issue of indefinite extension of the lockdown and review other strategies aimed at handling the pandemic.
