Theresa May is under pressure to ditch her Brexit deal and quit as prime minister after a final attempt to win over members of Parliament backfired.
The British prime minister who spoke about her European withdrawal deal in the House of Commons on Wednesday said she has the support of her Cabinet and is determined to deliver Brexit.
According to Aljazeera, prominent conservatives have called on Mrs May to step down immediately instead of bringing the bill forward.
May’s offer represents the final throw of the dice for a prime minister who has run out of options.
Almost three years after the U.K. voted to exit the EU, May’s deal has been rejected three times by Parliament.
