A suspect who engages in stealing and selling children says the price for which he sells the stolen kids depends on their HIV status.
The suspect, Emmaunel Udeagwu who was paraded alongside his accomplice, Celestina Enebeli by the Delta State police command, said he has been engaged in the crime for almost a year and has stolen countless number of children but has only succeeded in selling nine of them.
According to him, he sold the children at the rate of N250, 000 for those who were HIV positive and N300, 000 for healthy ones.
The State Commissioner of Police, Mr Ibrahim Zanna, also announced during the parade of 18 suspects in Asaba, that his men foiled an attempt by suspected militants to blow up an oil pipeline.

When will these acts end in Nigeria? Who are the buyers of stolen children? The federal government of Nigeria has a lot of work to do in curbing all kinds of crime.

If the government isn’t doing anything, the people should stand against it. This should not be tolerated in a civilized society
