Salah Abdeslam, the prime suspect behind Paris attack which claimed at least 130 lives has gone silent after being asked about Tuesday’s attacks in Brussels, Belgian prosecutors reveal.

Abdeslam has decided not to speak and is “exercising his right to silence” and said nothing when interviewed after Tuesday’s bombings despite the fact that he had been initially cooperative.

Abdeslam was nabbed in the Molenbeek suburb of Brussels after a raid, four days before the airport attack which killed at least 31 people.

Thus far, twelve people were arrested on Thursday and Friday in three countries.

Six were detained in Belgium on Thursday and three on Friday, though several were later released.
