Presidency confirms Ripples Nigeria story on reason for delay in signing 2017 budget

Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo has restated Federal Government’s plan in including private sector players in revamping the economy.

Osinbajo made this known during the third quarterly Presidential Business forum held at the State House Conference centre.

In turn, members of the Organised private sector took time to explain to the acting president on what could be done to make business environment improve and be conducive for Nigerians.

The Acting President who assumed the role for the second time following President Buhari’s trip to London on a routine medical checkup, said the forum is aimed at proffering solutions to challenges hindering ease of doing business in the country and other economic challenges facing the country.

The forum which focused on the creative digital economy, was attended by Members of the Economic Management Team (EMT), and other senior government officials.

The acting president told the Private Sector: “We will make ourselves as accessible to you as possible. We take partnerships seriously. Our Delivery Unit will work with the private sector across various Delivery Clusters, to create results/change”, he stated.
