‘Private visit’ over, Buhari returns to Nigeria on eve of Bayelsa, Kogi polls

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday night returned to the country after a two- week private visit to the United Kingdom.

The President returned to the country two days ahead of schedule as he was expected to return to the country on Sunday.

President Buhari arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 9:45 p.m. aboard a presidential jet and told journalists at the airport that he would work harder and be more accountable to Nigerians.

Buhari left for UK on November 2 after attending a summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
