With all the scandals, 'do you still believe Buhari is Mr. Clean and APC is a party of angels?'- Fani-Kayode

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has lamented that Nigeria kept struggling to produce pencils at a time Rwanda produces cars.

The former minister said that there “is something wrong” with Nigeria to still be talking about producing pencils when “Ghana is producing artificial intelligence, Botswana is producing computer parts and South Africa is the industrial and manufacturing capital of Africa.”

Fani-Kayode was responding to the statement by the minister of science and technology, Ogbonnaya Onu on Monday, where Onu said that the federal government had begun the production of pencils in the country.

But in a tweet on his verified Twitter account on Wednesday, Fani-Kayode wrote, “Rwanda is producing cars, Ghana is producing artificial intelligence, Botswana is producing computer parts and South Africa is the industrial and manufacturing capital of Africa.

“Sadly Nigeria is still struggling to produce pencils. There is something wrong with us!”
