South Korean President Park Geun-hye now has more to contend with after a special prosecutor investigating a corruption scandal raided her office in the country’s capital of Seoul.

The special prosecutor said it had no choice but to raid the presidential offices as part of efforts to help their invsetigation, Yonhap News reported.

The ongoing investigation is to help establish allegations that Park colluded with her friend, Choi Soon-sil, and aides to pressure big companies to contribute to foundations set up to back her policy initiatives.
