Worried by present predicament facing its business, Private Sector Participant (PSP) operators under the auspices of Association of Waste Managers of Nigeria (AWAM), said its investments of over N6billion were at risk following concession of 80 per cent of its business to Visionscape Sanitation Solutions.

Besides, the association said the new scheme had impacted negatively on livelihood of over 35,000 of their employees.

The association also suggested a way out of heaps of refuse adorning Lagos’ streets currently.

Speaking with New Telegraph, AWAM’s Chairman, Mr. Oladipo Egbeyemi, alleged that despite agreement to settle out of court and collaborate with Vissionscape Sanitation Solutions, following intervention by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, the organisation was yet to respond to the resolution reached.
