PSQUARE FEUD: I am very stupid for bringing my family issues on social media, Paul Okoye (Video)

One half of the defunct Psquare music duo Paul Okoye has apologised for bringing his family issues on social media saying he is very stupid for doing such a thing in an interview he granted Olisa Adibua of Beat FM.

The dreadlocks sporting member of the popular group says he regrets the role he played in the rift that engulfed him and his twin brother Peter who sought to terminate their contract as a pair in order to confirm their split.

“I think I was very stupid, in that aspect. Something got into me. I couldn’t stand him. But what I did, I regretted it. Please forgive me for that and let me move on,” Paul said during the interview.

When asked if there is a possibility of doing a joint track with his twin brother any times soon, Paul said; “Trust me, I don’t know. I don’t want to say anything about that issue now. Everyone has issues with their family members but when did they bring it to social media? Of what good is it? That is me, I can’t’.”

During the heat of the feud between the Psquare brothers which pitched Paul and Jude together against Peter, their lawyer Festus Keyamo in a statement issued at the time tagged “The Public Feud By The Psquare Brothers” expresses their sadness and embarrassment by an online video showing a purported scuffle between the brothers in their Chambers.

In the statement, Keyamo appealed to members of the public to refrain from jumping into uninformed conclusions about the festering feud and also stated that contrary to widespread belief, none of their wives of the feuding brothers is at fault as they have both kept their respectable and dignified distances from all the issues involved.

The feud between the brothers became prominent after social media was set abuzz when Peter posted a Snapchat video revealing that he is in Philadelphia on his own for a solo show – without his twin brother, Paul.

A week before that, Paul told fans expecting the pair to appear for their tour of US and Canada that the tour will no longer take place and ever since, both brothers have been promoting their solo careers on social media.

The feud came to a climax when Peter took the final step to confirm the split of the group when he sent a termination letter to the chambers of Keyamo requesting that he be set free from whatever contractual agreement that binds him with his twin brother.
