Rapper Ycee confirms parting ways with record label

Talented Nigerian rapper Ycee has put an end to speculations surrounding his departure from the record label that brought him to limelight by confirming he has left Tinny Entertainment.

Ycee officially confirmed he has parted ways with his erstwhile label when he took to Twitter to reply a fan who asked if he was still signed to the label which has brought him relative success and recognition on the music scene.

The rappers admission confirms rumours of a silent departure that were rife as far back as August 2018 and also comes ahead of the release of his upcoming new single, titled “Ain’t Nobody Badder Than” (#ANBT) set to be unveiled later this month.

Rapper Ycee confirms parting ways with record label

Ycee’s exit comes after singer, Reekado Banks, whose real name is Ayoleyi Solomon, parted ways with Marvin Records.

Moments after jumping ship to launch his own record label, “Banks Music’’, the musician posted a message on Instagram thanking Don Jazzy for the opportunity he gave him when he signed with the record label in 2013.
