Real Madrid to sign Payet after Euro 2016
Real Madrid will wait until after Euro 2016 before deciding on
whether to bid for West Ham talisman,  Dimitri Payet.
The Frenchman enjoyed a stellar campaign for the
Hammers, scoring 12 goals in 38 appearances including a handful
of sublime free-kicks.
Payet’s form has been rewarded with a call-up to the France squad
for this summer’s tournament and Real scouts will be present
at all of the host nation’s games to keep an eye on the 29-year-
old.
According to Le 10 Sport, Real are planning to offload James
Rodriguez this summer and view Payet as the ideal candidate to
replace the Colombian.
Payet signed a new contract with West Ham  this year as the club
tried to play down any rumours linking him with a move away
from East London
.
But the lure of playing in the Champions League for Real could
persuade Payet to force through a move if the Spanish giants firm
up their interest with a bid in July.
