Recession: AD tells Buhari to eliminate security votes

Alliance for Democracy (AD) party, Kwara State chapter has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to abolished security votes.

The party said that President Buhari, his Vice, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, the 36 governors and deputies, Minister of Federal Capital Territory and all the local government chairmen, sole administrators or local government caretaker committee chairmen, should all forfeit their security votes to demonstrated their concern for Nigerians especially in this period economic recession.

AD said they should be ready to take only their allowances to show that they are genuinely committed to the “Change Begins with Me,” campaign of the Federal Government.
