Referee, judges confirmed for McGregor vs Mayweather superfight
American Robert Byrd has been selected as the referee for the much-anticipated superfight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather.
Byrd also refereed Mayweather’s unanimous decision victory over Robert Guerrero in 2013.
Also, Burt Clements, Dave Moretti and Guido Cavalleri have all been named as the judges for the fight after a meeting of the Nevada Athletic Commission, which licensed the match-up.

Mayweather, 40, will face the Irish UFC lightweight title-holder, McGregor, in 12 rounds under boxing rules.
The two men have conducted a series of news conferences in past weeks to promote the fight, with stops in Los Angeles and Toronto before trips to New York and London.
The fight will finally happen at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 26.
