Relief for travellers as construction work on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway suspended further

The partial closure of portions of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway has been postponed by the Federal Government to September 2, 2019

The closure, which was scheduled to begin August 3, was to enable the planned repair works on a stretch of 1.4km between Berger and the Ogun River axis of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

According to a communique by the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing, the decision was to enable the effective traffic management plan and to show sensitivity to Nigerians.
