Respite has come the way of a former chairman of the House appropriation committee, Abdulmumin Jibrin as he has been recalled
Jibrin, representing Bebeji/Kiru constituency in Kano state, was suspended in 2017 for 180 legislative days after he raised an alarm of the alleged padding of the 2016 budget.
Speaker Yakubu Dogara had during plenary on Tuesday announced a letter of apology Jibrin wrote to the lawmakers.
Although he did not read the content of the letter, he stated that by implication, the lawmaker can resume his duties in the House.
